The installation steps shown below follow the same procedure as any other normal program

First click thought to our sofware download page, complete the contact details form and choose the Microsoft Windows link. |
A window like this will appear to inform you that the software is an application. Our software is built on Java and it is safe to install. Choose "Save File" to proceed. |

A window like this will appear to show you the progress of the download. If your internet connection is slow the download will take a correspondingly long time. |

A notice like this will asking you if you want to open our program which is an executable file. Our program is very well built using Java programming and does not contain any viruses.
Choose OK to proceed. |

Java - Only required when your version is too old.
At this point you may be asked to install a newer version of Java and a window like the one opposite may appear. Click on the link (blue writing) to install it. Updates are free.
What is Java
Java is the computer language that our software uses. It was developed by Sun Microsystems and is commonly used on all computers to run various programs. Photobook software requires version 1.5 or newer. |

Continue the Java installation - Only if required.
You should choose the "next" buttons as they become available and continue with the installation. You will not need to restart your computer to complete the installation of Java and PhotoBook software |

When the download is completed this notice will appear which you should read. To progress click the "agree" button to confirm that you have read the licence and will abide by it. |

In this window private home users should leave the default setting (Install for this user only (default; choose this if you are unsure of which to use) and click next.
The other option is for situations where computers have been set up for multiple users, usually in work related environments.

This setup window chooses where Pohotobook Icons will be put on your computer. Normal practice is to leave the default settings and click next. |

This window is about where the software is installed on your computer. Normal practice is to click Install. |

| This window shows the progress of your installation close it when the installation is complete. |

The software can now be opened using this icon on your desktop or through your "start" menu as shown below. |
